The Surgical Pathology Update and Junior Academy is a yearly event organized by the committee, and this meeting brings together international and regional experts to different areas within the region, and these meeting are always well attended by the pathologists of the host countries. To date, this meeting has been held in The Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Indonesia. There are also other meetings that AAPIAP is involved in Cambodia and Vietnam.
In the coming years, the AAIAP will explore other additional ways to bring quality educational activities to different Asia Pacific areas, to foster more collaborative efforts among the larger divisions to in education provision, and to liaise with other international IAP groups.
